The Curriculum
The Tell Institute has adapted Dara Horn's ideas into short, highly interactive curriculum units designed to be the "Start Here" framework needed to understand other instruction about Jews, the Holocaust, Israel, and antisemitism today.
The Tell's lessons teach a single story that supports pattern recognition:

A tiny, counter-cultural group whose groundbreaking ideas shaped world history.

The radical Jewish proposition that individuals don't need to conform, agree, or bow to tyrants.

The 2,200-year-old "Big Lie" that Jews are destroying what society values most.

The newest media of the time—today, AI and social algorithms—spread The Big lie farther and faster than ever.
No one can recognize or defuse the lie of antisemitism today without understanding this story.
Applications are now open on a rolling basis for B'nai Mitzvah programs starting after November 1, 2026.
Participating classrooms will gain access to The Tell’s curriculum and training portal, including:

Eight complete lesson plans designed for B’nai Mitzvah-age students

Slides and student workbook materials. Workbooks in hard copy will also be provided.

The fee to access The Tell's portal for the 2026-27 academic year is on a sliding scale from $500-3,000 based on synagogue membership.

Looking for a different curriculum unit?
We have developed a high school unit for secular public and private school, as well as a 6-lesson unit on the Ancient Israelites for 6th-grade world civilization courses. Drawing on feedback from our successful Spring 2026 pilots, The Tell Institute is finalizing its revisions to these units and will also release a high school unit for Jewish settings in the coming months.
